Edinburgh-headquartered Qmile Group is a multi-award-winning property developer specialising in prestigious and complex projects. Our work includes the £350m Haymarket Edinburgh development in the heart of the Scottish capital. Once complete, the development will comprise three Grade A office buildings totalling sq ft, a 349-room Hyatt Centric hotel and sq ft of retail and leisure space. All the office space at Haymarket Edinburgh has been let. Occupiers include independent investment partnership Baillie Gifford; law firms Shepherd and Wedderburn, Shoosmiths, Dentons and Morton Fraser MacRoberts; business advisory firm Deloitte; and Lothian Pension Fund. We are also delivering Craighouse, a £150m, 144-home conversion and new build residential development set within 52-acres of open lawns and mature woodland in Edinburgh’s Morningside. Our experience includes mixed-use, commercial, residential, leisure and retail developments. Founded in 2018, we have so far delivered sq ft of residential accommodation and sq ft of commercial space with a combined gross development value of £850m. Qmile Group established its reputation for delivery of complex high-profile projects with the Quartermile mixed-use development in Edinburgh city centre. The development is home to more than apartments and around sq ft of Grade A office space occupied by the likes of Skyscanner, Cirrus Logic and Investec. Quartermile was awarded the British Council for Offices (BCO) Scottish Regional Chair Award in 2020. The accolade is given each year to a project, company or individual, or a combination of all three, that has provided an outstanding contribution to the property industry in Scotland. In 2021, we won the Property Company of the Year and Deal of the Year categories at the Scottish Property Awards. The latter recognised the sq ft pre-let of Grade A office accommodation to Baillie Gifford on a 20-year lease at Haymarket Edinburgh.
