Quahog [KO:HOG] is the first open source HR/recruitment consultancy which truly looks inside to unlock the best value for both talents and companies. We are recruiters, consultants and friends who want to transform HR and recruitment. Our model is open source because our processes are transparent, and we use our collective knowledge and experience to improve how companies identify, hire and manage their most important asset: people. We have backgrounds in software development, engineering, consulting, sales, marketing, HR and product who have always disrupted the status quo. We connect great people and great companies. Hilary Klassen, the founder and CEO, grew up on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and loves digging for quahogs. Opening up the shells reveals various deep purple, blue, pink, and gold color formations. Each quahog is unique. The company name “Quahog” emerged while working with our first clients, setting up a platform to reveal people’s potential and helping people and companies grow.*Quahog is a hard-shell clam Native Americans made into valuable beads called “wampum" which were used as currency.
