Qualgro (Quality & Growth) is a leading Venture Capital firm based in Singapore investing into tech companies with strengths in Data/AI, Software and B2B, at Series A and B. We have achieved strong financial returns (DPI), combined with high economic development impact for both individuals and businesses (SMEs). To date, we have minted 3 unicorns and 3 soonicorns, out of 18 investments in our Fund 1 (2015). Several Qualgro’s portfolio companies have become regional and global leaders, across various verticals. Out of 30 investments, across 2 Funds in 8 years, we have already generated 8 full exits, including 5 acquisitions by international players and one IPO. In 2019, Qualgro was awarded “VC Exit of the Year” by the Singapore Venture Capital & Private Equity Association. Qualgro was founded in 2015 by Heang Chhor. He has led many investments in Data/AI and Software, at Seed to Series B stages, and helped portfolio companies grow regionally and globally. He has supported companies on fundraising and exits, leveraging an extensive network of global investors. His record includes investments into 3 unicorns, several full exits including 1 IPO and 3 acquisitions by international players. He was previously a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company (26 years) and a member of the McKinsey Global Board, working in Europe and Asia. Before and during McKinsey, he was an entrepreneur building a series of companies. Qualgro is co-led by Weisheng Neo. He has made several investments into Fintech, Education, Marketing, Software startups in Southeast Asia and has helped them accelerate their growth and build strong talent pools. Our team has diverse and international expertise in startups, businesses, technology, investment, and strategy.
