Quality Castings is a leading supplier of cast and machined engineering components from less than 1 kg to Kg or more in a wide range of Ferrous and Non Ferrous alloys. The company has more than 80 years experience in the foundry business and has supplied cast products for many customers in the mineral processing industries including oil, coal, cement, steel, aluminium, nickel, copper as well as the rail and transport industries. Established in 1938 to develop the technology of casting of high alloy steel castings, in particular Stainless Steels for the chemicals industry Quality Castings was one of the first foundries in Australia to use high frequency induction melting for concise control of melt chemistry. With a background in high alloy steels, this same technology and standard of quality was applied across the complete range of irons and steels, including Ductile iron, Chrome iron, Ni-hard, low alloy steels, high strength steels, wear resisting steels, heat resisting steels and corrosion resistant stainless steels including duplex grades. Quality Castings is quality accredited to AS/NZS ISO 9001: 2015 Certificate QEC 3997 and maintains laboratory facilities providing Chemical Analysis and Physical Testing of Metals. The company provides Non-destructive testing including magnetic particle and dye penetrant testing, ultrasonic testing and radiography.
