In April 2020 Quality Ukes Australia was founded. After 5+ years experience in musical instrument retail working with ukuleles and seeing a lack of quality ukes in the Australia market, I wanted to create a company that only sells the best ukes. Initially, I will be focusing on Ko'olau's Pono range, due to their excellent build quality, sound quality and value for money. What sets Pono apart is that they're made under the guidance of a premier Hawaiian uke builder in Indonesia with very thorough quality control. I guarantee they're the best ukes you can get in the price range. Beautiful all solid wood bodies (Mango, Acacia and Mahogany), ebony fretboard and bridges and they even have trust rods which help to set their ukes up with an excellent playing action.
