Quantum Design is a Control Systems Integrator as well as an original equipment manufacturer of the following equipment; rewinding and splicing equipment for the converting, web-handling, label, tag and packaging industries; roll sheeters for the sheet-fed printing industry; and conditioning grinders and abrasive saws for the steel industry. For over 30 years Quantum Design has been serving the custom control panel assembly market by designing and building superior custom control panel systems. As a systems integrator, we have gained extensive experience in all facets of electric, PLC, computer, bar-coding, data collection, pneumatic, software and electromechanical technologies. Quantum Design's unique combination of control panel assembly capabilities, quality manufacturing processes and internal engineering expertise can provide the necessary mix of products and services for a complete project solution. Quantum Design is the proud owner of 4 different product lines housed at 4 different locations in the greater Rockford area. Originally started as an electrical engineering firm in 1986, Quantum quickly grew to accommodate customer requests for complete turnkey solutions to the automation controls industry by adding a full-service control panel assembly shop. Over the years they have added 3 additional product lines, Centro-Metalcut, KTI (formerly Keene Technology) and Quantum Roll Sheeters. Quantum Design has 4 locations in Loves Park, IL, Rockford, IL and South Beloit, IL.
