Quartet Investment Managers

Founded in 2009 and based in Richmond, Surrey, Quartet is a partner-owned private client investment management firm providing creative investment solutions for private clients and their associated entities across the globe. We provide independent, discretionary investment management services to high net worth private clients and their related entities. We are not experts in everything and work alongside a client’s advisers to meet their overall financial objectives. Key differentiating points: We focus on constructing truly individual investment solutions tailored to meet each client’s specific requirements. We believe, and studies have shown, that asset allocation is by far the biggest driver behind investment performance. We derive a longer term strategic asset allocation for each client and adjust this tactically to reflect our views on market opportunities. Few fund managers consistently beat their respective index and they also tend to have high fees and costs. We therefore use passive investment vehicles for core portfolio holdings. Satellite portfolio positions in actively managed funds are included to add alpha. We offer a completely transparent and honest fee structure with no internal products. We seek an alignment of interests with our clients. Partners and their families are amongst the firm’s largest clients and our portfolios are managed along the same lines as external clients.
