In order to place a machine or a product on the market, one or more technical documentations are required. These are subject to special standards and guidelines and must have the appropriate content and language. Products are subject to the Product Safety Act, require a CE or GS mark and, among other things, an instruction manual and/or instructions for assembly, installation, maintenance and service life. It doesn't matter whether they are used privately or commercially. Unfortunately, the exact delimitation of the scope of application is extremely complex, so that there are many peripheral areas and disputes.
