Candys Mayo, the owner of Quinn Engineering & Employment Network LLC, began her professional career as an Engineering Designer in 2002, following 4 years of studying Engineering that began in 1998 in High School Engineering Tech Prep. After achieving her Associate of Science Degree in Computer Aided Drafting, her thirst for success in the field of Engineering landed her a position with Northrop Grumman’s Shipbuilding division in Newport News VA. Easily identified as an Emerging Leader amongst her peers, promotions and movement amongst the various Engineering Departments was paramount to her growth as a Designer and soon Engineering Designer. With each move came a promotion or area of study change during her 8 year tenure. Following her exit from Northrop Grumman, she embarked on a series, over 6 years, as an Independent Contractor with Strom Engineering where she worked for various Naval and Coast Guard projects from Seattle to Florida. Finally deciding to branch out on her own, thus birthing, in 2015, the company we now know as QUEEN-OHIO. Over the course of 2 years, Candys has taken the company to new heights, including an increase of 72% in customer/client relations tactics, leading to the company’s very first profitable quarter, defining the core customer base and developing a solid growth plan as well assisting in the company performing well above its projected sales target for the 2nd quarter of the year. With well-defined SMART goals and a targeted niche market, QUEEN-OHIO is on its way to seeing its 2nd profitable quarter for the year. Also included in its accomplishments are mentorship with a very notable engineering firm as well as certifications on the state level in both the public and private sectors, all under the direction of Candys Mayo.
