Quinta Do Mirante

Quinta do Mirante is a century-old fruit farm and a lovely tourist accommodation for groups, overlooking the Douro Vert valley and located around fifty kilometres from Porto, in Castelo de Paiva. The quinta has four hectares of fruit trees and forest, and enjoys panoramic views. This is the land of choice for southern Vinho Verde wines. It's in this inspiring setting that we welcome groups of traditional tourists as well as companies and retreats for digital nomads. We offer them accommodation and conditions for working or sharing that are in harmony with the surrounding nature. The quinta has a capacity of six double rooms, soon to be joined by a yurt for two people. If required, up to eight additional rooms can be booked in the beautiful neighbouring quinta (Quinta do Bassor - three hectares of vineyards). We have high-performance wifi (fibre) and plenty of places to work alone or in a team (veranda, outdoor areas, renovated stables for seminars or workshops). Our guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen and barbecue area with unlimited access to our vegetable gardens. We offer Vinho Verde tastings and typical farmhouse meals. Before or after work, our groups can take part in personal development activities such as yoga, meditation, tai chi, chi gong or aromatherapy. They can also enjoy hiking or water sports (kayaking, Sup on the Douro). This anchorage and star system make Quinta do Mirante a natural and human ecosystem that is ideally suited to the new expectations of digital nomads and companies looking for well-being and meaning.
