Absolute Return has a multi-strategy sleeve approach in equity, commodity and interest rate derivative markets. The strategy seeks to take advantage of dislocations in derivatives to produce an uncorrelated return stream to traditional assets. The broad QVR PM & Research team is involved in the portfolio management of the strategy. The Convexity Alpha base strategy will look to own as much gamma as affordable in a risk averse, flat carry manner. The strategy provides liquidity in SPX options market dislocations caused by the massive growth in call overwriting, hedged equity and other price insensitive trading flow used by risk mitigating and income strategies. The program can be adjusted to a MARKET NEUTRAL, HEDGED EQUITY OR S&P 500+ application by adjusting the program Beta.
