QVT Financial LP, founded in 2003, is a multi-strategy investment advisor based in New York with over $1 billion of AUM. QVT's four Managing Members have led the firm since inception. In 2018, we launched the QVT Family Office Funds. Since inception, QVT has employed a focused investment research process that emphasizes a value orientation and independent thinking, complemented by disciplined risk management. For all of its fund offerings, QVT seeks to identify asymmetric risk/reward profiles and develop original, well-researched investment theses. QVT relies on our software engineers to create and improve the proprietary systems and applications which are an integral part of our business. The firm seeks to employ exceptionally high-caliber individuals who can apply original thinking to a wide range of investment opportunities, across sectors and around the world. Our team members are drawn from diverse academic backgrounds. Many hold science degrees, including physics, engineering, mathematics, and computer science. Others come from the liberal arts.
