Racine (French word for “Root”) is a multipurpose company whose one of the main missions, alongside with winemaking consulting, is to provide higher education about oenology and sommellerie to Georgian winemakers and professionals of hospitality. Georgia is increasingly calling the attention of the finest hedonists around the world, especially for its gastronomic tradition and ancestral wine culture. Consequently, tourism tremendously grew over the past 10 years and the hospitality offer became plethoric. Unfortunately, I noticed that too often the attention given to wine did not match the promises, even in premium locations, due to a critical lack of knowledge. I wanted to change that. Therefore, I created Racine. My method is simple : I propose tailored high-end consultations to each of my clients to identify their problematics and hence carefully prepare my trainings in-situ to provide the solutions they need, according to their expectations. From cellar management to wine marketing and sales strategy, passing by wine tasting, wine service, food & wine pairing; I can cover all the topics if necessary. By improving wine education, any establishment can genuinely increase its service quality, develop its wine sales, increase its margins, reduce its costs and wastes, improve its image as well as the brand loyalty of its clients… As a hospitality professional or a winemaker, the positive outcomes you can get from wine education are infinite.
