The store name points towards where the business was established. Chicago is seen as one of the centers of creativity and artistic expression in the U.S, but it is also known for its lethal gang violence. Rack is looking to show the world that although Chicago and other urban metropolises may have violent exteriors, there is a deeper core of creativity and warmth that comes from within. This is why our brand is looking to create a blend of edginess and elegance within our style. The brand also plans to outreach to youth groups in Chicago to find local artists who are looking for a canvas to showcase their talents.
