Radical International Ltd is an established independent consultancy providing fire engineering, RAMS and support services to the rail, civil, marine, aerospace and plant industries on a global level. Formed in Radical International has built a strong client base of world-class suppliers, manufacturers, and operators. Our full spectrum of services has been provided to component suppliers to government agencies. Based on a demand from industry to break away from over constraining generic fire safety standards that are typically based on conservative 'catch all' assumptions, we have developed new performance based methodologies. These methodologies allow the particular conditions of the project or product to be assessed and demonstrated to provide a similar or better level of fire safety than for prescriptive standards. The performance based methodologies also allow otherwise unusable materials and construction methods to be employed based on the overall fire engineering solution. Our solutions are based on developed and validated modules but each engineering solution is adapted for the particular project or product.
