Radici Globali

Radici Globali is an association for social promotion (APS) founded in Olbia in July 2020 by the joint decision of a group of young professionals to engage in international volunteering. Radici Globali's objective is to create and finance projects devoted to sustainable development in areas affected by environmental degradation and human exploitation. Our action aims at building a winning and reproducible model in various geographical contexts. In particular, the impact that we would like to produce arises from the synergy of multiple programs and is essentially divided along three general lines: 1) The supply of water resources for food purposes to the target populations; 2) The planting of local flora to counterbalance the climate impact, restore the original environmental conditions and ensure greater soil fertility; 3) Teaching beekeeping practices to start local production of honey and derivatives products. Implementing these programs can bring wide benefits in terms of health, respect and care for the environment and reduce depopulation in rural areas.
