Radio Azad 97.8 FM is a private open media radio station not affiliated to party or government. Located in the urban capital, Mazar-e-Sharif, we have cultivated an extensive listening audience to date, We now reach one million people. We are the largest broadcaster in the region and serve the area with timely news media, cultural programming, and community education. Our team is trained extensively in media production, editing, and digital technology. We produce and transmit radio broadcasts 24/7 including commercials, drama, and video infomercials. Afghan youth is our primary target and make up the majority of our listening audience. Our programs are designed for positive societal impact and broadcast in DARI and PASHTO. We also offer UZEBKI language programming. Our broadcasting partnership strategy encourages audience participation, product promotion for new technologies, and educational opportunities.Radio Azad 97.8 FM is an independent radio station, located in Mazar-e-Sharif, broadcasting diverse news, cultural, and sports programing to the north region of Afghanistan.
