Radio Jazz
RADIO JAZZ is an initiative by Martijn Barkhuis (DJ Maestro) and Bernard Koeleman focused on bringing real jazz back in the air in the Netherlands. In March 2009, jazz disappeared from the Dutch radio. The frequency 90.7FM (destined for jazz or classical music) will be redistributed by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. Radio Jazz aims to win the contest for the frequency, and to broadcast quality jazz, both old and new.
