Radio Rubber Room

Radio Rubber Room is a media and production company, co-hosted by Derrick Vara and Chanelle Vigue, that functions as the one-stop fun-shop for RVA music and events. Our mission is to generate laughter and put RVA Music into as many ear holes as possible! The centerpiece of is our weekly podcast, professionally produced at Sound Check Studios in Richmond, VA. Each podcast features an RVA band playing live in the studio, tracks from other local artists, interviews, and our own special blend of satirical ads and comedic skits. Radio Rubber Room also hosts live music events at local and regional venues, records and streams performances of every musical genre, and live streams regional festivals (including The Mad Tea Party Jam and Pink Moon) to showcase and support RVA’s local and regional music scene.
