Radio Televizija BN is the first private radio and television station in Republika Srpska and among the first private television stations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and South East Europe. The broadcast began on 19 April 1998. Today, RTV BN broadcasts its three television, and one radio channel. In 2004, RTV BN started the broadcast of the satellite channel BN SAT for the territory of Europe, America and Australia. The satellite broadcast is intended for people from the former Yugoslavia living on these three continents. Today, RTV BN is the most watched televisionof diaspora and is present in the biggest cable and IPTV systems in Europe. In mid-2009, RTV BN started the broadcast of its music channel and music production BN Music. In July 2018, RTV BN started broadcastingin HD quality. A lot of credit forthe success of RTV BN belongs to BN Radio, which is one of the most listened radio stations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region. Today, BN Radio is broadcasting using terrestrial FM technology, over the Internet and over satellite. We can proudly say that RTV BN is an independent media company that is not influenced by state structures nor political parties.
