About Radio Nyra – Arohi Media LLC Located amidst the serene forest landscape of Durham, North Carolina, our journey began in 2014 with the launch of our very first radio station — WDUR 1490 AM, proudly owned and operated by Arohi Media LLC. Broadcasting through our non-directional tower, we introduced the Triangle’s first 24/7 Desi Radio Network, bringing Hindi news, talk, and Bollywood music to the rapidly growing South Asian and Indian Subcontinent community in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill-Cary region. Building on this success, we expanded our reach by leasing the HD-4 Channel of 99.9 WCMC-FM and soon launched our own FM translator on 101.9 FM — followed by 99.9 FM HD-3 Telugu. Today, Radio Nyra proudly broadcasts across multiple frequencies and digital platforms, connecting tens of thousands of listeners every week.
