Radisson garments is growing with a standard speed. I took it with 7 woven lines before 9 months. Now it is 9 lines. Hope another line will be added next month. Safety and compliance issues are almost negotiated through proper way. Waiting to install Automatic/addressable detection system next month. I find radical change among workers and staffs. It is really surprising to me that garments sector of Bangladesh need a paradigm shift culturally. There are lot of rooms to improve. Cultural change management implementation process needs Induction training, attitude and communication skill training, proper knowledge on Labour law, practicing 5S, TQM and Industrial Engineering process management training, waste reduction training, proper record of production, daily production summary analysis, maintaining correct speed of production through effective supervision, workplace safety training, refresher course for operators, mid level management training, practicing chain of command, analyzing feedback of every department, root cause analysis and analysis of migration of skilled operators and staffs. Anyway I am learning everyday and doing the analysis through IE dept. and HR department. Proper TNA planning and its flexibility, correct recruiting and job analysis can help you out to reduce unnecessary problem and unrest. Practicing official procedure can help workers unrest. Participation Committee can help to build a bridge between workers and management. Good practices can reduce internal clash. harmony and good dealings can change behaviour of a person at workplace through training. hinking ahead and will do the needful.
