A social development organization (NGO) that focuses on community development and works with youth and other social categories to introduce and contribute to social welfare and development in Yemen and the region. An opened and specialized development organization that serves people and provide social services using trained and qualified teams in the areas of education, health, protection, emergency and WASH as well as social research. Rafah Foundation for Development is a local Yemeni organization (NGO) that operates in various governorates in Yemen. It focuses on community development and works with youth and other social categories to introduce and contribute to social welfare and development in Yemen and the region. Its efforts are mainly aiming at improving people’s lives and providing social services through is trained and qualified staff and volunteers. Rafah has been working in the since 2012 in the areas of education, health, and empowerment and other development sectors. Currently and due to the situation in Yemen, Rafah is working on emergency as well social research and training. Our Vision: To be a leading agency in the field of social development and social well-being as well as in building people capacities and skills in Yemen and the region. Rafah projects will be throughout the country, though its centers will be opened in Taiz (headquarters), Aden, Ibb, Al-Mukkala, Al-Ghieda, Al-Hodiedah and Sana'a.(Expanding and operating in the region is considered as future strategy). Rafah Goals: Rafah's main goal is to achieve and improve social welfare and people's well-being and to develop people's capacities and skills as well as to employ their abilities and competencies through four specialized centers.
