RAIN is a mutual aid organisation inspired by the efficiency and harmony found in nature's interconnected systems, from the coordination of ants and bees to the vast mycelial networks beneath our forests. Just like the web of fungal threads that allows trees to trade resources and information, we are building a network of communication, support and resilience. Our projects prioritise resilience, autonomy and food sovereignty, using the traditional techniques of people deeply rooted in their history and their landscapes. We believe that people are an integral part of the natural world, and that conservation is more than just protecting the land.
