Rainbow Advocacy is a 501(c)(3) non-operating foundation dedicated to advancing the vision of Rev. Troy Perry — pioneering LGBTQ+ activist, founder of Metropolitan Community Churches, and co-founder of LA PRIDE / Christopher Street West. Since our founding in 1996, we have been committed to amplifying LGBTQIA+ voices and supporting projects that promote equality, inclusion, and compassion around the world. As a non-operating foundation, we do not run our own programs — we fund others. Our mission is simple: we fund others to fuel Pride and empower change. Through Troy Perry Legacy Grants, Rainbow Advocacy invests in grassroots leaders, artists, advocates, and organizations making bold, transformative change in their communities. Every grant honors Rev. Perry’s lifelong commitment to justice and his unwavering belief that “we’re not afraid anymore.”
