Rainforest Nutritionals

Rainforest specializes in the research, development, commercialization and licensing of botanicals from the world’s tropical cloud and rainforests, with focus on the Amazon in Peru, Brazil and Ecuador. It is a concept to shelf company (ethnomedical history, mechanism of action, animal and human clinical; studies) that creates brands as well as secure on-shelf key contracts (i.e. CVS Pharmacies, 7-Eleven, Rexall). It currently licenses its patented platform technologies. RNI was created in 2002 from a consortium of medical doctors and scientists for the purpose of commercializing their research with initial focus on the mechanisms of action of select South American ethnobotanicals from the Andes to the Rainforest. With their central office located in the Research Triangle Park area of Raleigh, North Carolina, a biotech “hub” for the United States, RNI collaborates with North and South American academic institutions, as well as international agencies, from basic research and development through publications and clinical trials. To this end, all clinical trials and other research are peer-reviewed, vetted, and published only in those medical and scientific journals recognized by the US National Institutes of Health and found in the US National Library of Medicine. As of 2010, RNI promotes and supports the use of six patented or patent-pending botanical ingredients in its products: Vincaria®, an Uncaria guianensis extract; RNI-249® (aka Inca Gold®), a Lepidium meyenii extract; Zangrado® and Progrado®, both Croton species extracts; Pango®, a Spilanthes oleracea extract; and, YanoCamu®, a Myrciaria dubia extract.
