MISSION We work to provide funding to help meet the immediate needs and alleviate financial barriers to success for individuals who are involved in (or at risk of) involvement with the legal system. PURPOSE Rainy Day Fund works to eliminate the financial barriers that prevent individuals from exiting or avoiding the legal system by assisting with costs associated with housing, employment, securing identification, restoration of rights, court costs, and other immediate needs. VISION We envision a community where one’s risk of legal system involvement is not dependent upon one’s ability to pay for their immediate needs.
