Raised Roots

Raised Roots is an urban agriculture consulting and operations company in the Greater Toronto Area. Our team has over 25 years of experience in food systems, farming, food policy and social justice. Our goal is to reconnect people with their food and strengthen local community food security and resilience through urban food production. Raised Roots has two pillars of work. As a consulting company, Raised Roots supports stakeholders in embedding food, resilience and social justice into their project. As an urban agriculture operations company, we work with property owners, asset management companies and institutions who are interested in growing food on their property to support the design, maintenance and/or daily operations of food-producing projects. Throughout all our activities, we focus on a triple bottom line approach that centers people and planet while generating sustainable profit.
