Raising Justice

Raising Justice is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization actively working to dismantle systems that deny young people their basic public safety. We were founded in 2017 as Youth Educating Police and still hold the beacon as we have transitioned into Raising Justice. Our work combines Policy Advocacy, Grassroots Organizing and, Education and Training that proves when we dismantle racial, generational, and class injustice and create safe public spaces, we validate young people’s need to feel welcome, safe, and treasured. We deserve to be welcome / to be heard / to go to schools that value and develop our potential / to be delicate, beautiful, and exquisitely sensitive / to make mistakes and learn from them / to dream up and build a world that is better than this one / to hope beyond our experience / equity, and justice, and joy, and love, and happiness / justice, just like anyone.
