RAMA OVERSEAS LIMITED is an ISO certified organization established way back in 1975 by entrepreneurs well versed in work wear and leather products. Business had started with the export of finished leather to the Far East, where it was made into hand gloves and sent on to Europe and USA. In due course, the company integrated and mastered the art of making and exporting leather gloves and safety garments. The Industrial Work-wear Division produces worker garments like overalls, trousers, shirts, bib pants, jackets, Hi-Visibility Garments & clothing for healthcare in various fabric qualities. The division also specializes in production of technical garments like Fire Retardant, Anti-static, Oil & Water repellent, Hi-visibility, Anti-bacterial, Crease & Stain resistant. The patterns are well managed through Accumark pattern management & Gerber Plotter. Personalization of garments by embroidery & printing is also done. Over 500 machines are used in production. The garments produced are OEKO-TEX 100 certified. Our monthly capacity of the Workwear division is Pcs. Our customers are spread Worldwide from Australia to Europe to North and South America. We are privileged to work with the best brands in this industry. The factory situated in Kolkata, produces pairs of gloves every month which includes leather gloves in cow grain, split leather and also treated leather for water repellant, heat resistance etc. We use 400 sewing machines and 100 hydraulic clickers presses for our production. The workforces employed for production are professionally trained and highly skilled laborers who adhere to the worker's health and safety guidelines. Apart from leather gloves we produce leather welding apparels like Jackets / Aprons / Trousers / Arm and Leg Guards. We also have a tannery at the Kolkata Leather Complex, which is instrumental in maintaining the quality of leather right from its raw stage.
