Being a product of Ranaweera Associates, the channel, TaxTalk was initiated to educate the public with reference to the regulated tax compliances and to discuss the tax effects on prevailing situation in the country. Established upon the partnership by Mr. Athula Ranaweera and Mrs. Ramya Ranaweera, two other associate companies, namely Assent Secretarial consultant Pvt Ltd and Assent Advisory Partners Pvt Ltd subsequently incorporated to provide corporate secretarial services and all types of business consultancies respectively.
