Rapicon West
Upon invitation from a potential client, the process of tender begins with a site visit to establish site layout and the projects needs, as well as to investigate the potential variables which may influence the complexity and time needed for erection and dismantling. It is not uncommon for Rapicon to come up with a clever workaround when faced with a challenge, and such cost-saving have given us a competitive edge in the past. Once having clearly outlined which of our Potain cranes could most cost-effectively, serve the reachability and capacity needs of the project, a tender is submitted. It is both in our, and the clients best interest, that the erection and dismantling (E&D) process occurs as quickly and efficiently as possible. Before leaving our workshop for a new job site, each crane will have undergone maintenance, preparation and then safety checks and had a non-destructible test (NDT) certificate signed off for it, by a qualified engineer. The E&D team that arrives on site to erect, or dismantle a crane, normally do so within a day or two, using another lifting device. No one can afford downtime, our mission is to ensure top of the line service, to ensure your equipment is running at its optimal condition and your project is on time and budget. From basic maintenance, repair for all models, inspection services, engineering services and certification we are there for all your equipment’s need. We are always on call from coast-to-coast to keep your equipment running and working for you, this is the commitment we make to our clients. When problems do occur onsite, our technical supervisor is ready to troubleshoot over the phone or by a remote station with the client; the expertise being such, that 90% of issues are solved this way saves a lot of potential downtimes. If the problem is ongoing, an experienced Rapicon West technician is dispatched to the site, who will then work on the issue until it is resolved.
