Jim Raptis, Chairman and founder of the Raptis Group of Companies first entered property development in Sydney in 1967, and moved to the Gold Coast in the mid-70s. Within a short time, the Raptis name established a reputation for quality and imaginative development - projects that not only had visual appeal, but also with an ambience that exuded warmth and welcome. Early landmark residential buildings including Aegean, Acapulco and Biarritz demonstrated creative architectural design and a successful approach to site selection, construction and marketing.
