Rare Americans

Some call us a rock band, others call us animators, but we prefer to call ourselves world builders. After 7 albums, a short film, an award-winning feature-length film, and 50+ animated music videos,'rare' speaks for itself. We've created one interconnected world set to music, headed up by recurring characters like Brittle Bones Nicky, and through this universe, fostered a fanbase that obsessively keeps coming back. Along the way, the band has sold out shows across the globe, earned a Juno nom (Canada’s equivalent to a Grammy), and built a fanbase almost entirely through viral content they share for free. Our world spans from dark and raw to current events and comedy, leaving fans never quite sure what's coming next. Now we're aligning everything we've built into “Crooked City”, our most ambitious project yet. Are you ready to join the Rare Americans universe?
