Our core area of business is in the research, development and implementation of travel plans for a variety of organisations. However our experience within the industry often leads us into other project work for some of the organisations that we work with. As transport consultants Rare Spark work at a variety of levels, from transport statements and assessments for planning applications through detailed appraisals of car parking and traffic-flow issues to researching and developing travel plans. Our clients turn to us for help in making planning applications, re-designing car parks and traffic flows, relieving pressure on their car parks and to help them develop their environmental credentials. Local Authorities almost always require a transport statement or assessment and a travel plan as part of a planning application for a new or existing site. We examine the way staff travel, both to and from work and on business, then work with the client to find practical and sustainable alternatives to driving alone. We can then provide full implementation services to save clients the time, effort and money of working outside their core business.
