Raritan River Chapter Nrhs

Raritan River Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society, charter granted April 2011. Created to help preserve the artifacts and the history of the Raritan River Railroad, which ran between South Amboy, NJ and New Brunswick, NJ from to 1980. Short Term Goals are: To move, preserve and restore the Raritan River Rail Road Freight Station in Milltown, NJ. Preserve the history and remaining artifacts of the Raritan River Railroad.(This includes research and documentation) To pursue Tax-Free 501(c)3 status. Publish material related to the history of the Encourage community support for the station, and interest in railroad history. Educate the community on the history of the station, the and railroads in general.
