Rational Chaos
Framing complex problems into design-ready briefs. Too many teams jump into development armed with a mountain of Post-its but no shared, testable understanding of the problem they're actually solving. This leads to wasted resources, stakeholder misalignment, and solutions that fail to make an impact. This isn't a failure of effort; it's a failure of framing. I help teams navigate this initial, critical phase. Through my consultancy, Rational Chaos, I provide a systematic process to turn messy, wicked briefs into crisp, testable problem frames; so good solutions finally have a chance. My approach is different. It's not about performative workshops; it's about evidence. It's grounded in my PhD in Design Computing & Cognition and my work as a Cognitive NLP Researcher, using proven tools adapted to how designers actually think. For over two decades, I have worked with government leaders, entrepreneurs, and business owners to tackle their most complex challenges. I have started the Journal of Design Thinking, founded and led Iran's first Faculty of Design, developed plans and products, and published extensively on the cognitive science of the design process.
