Ratiotherm manufacture Oskarº, an intelligent energy layering thermal storage system that seamlessly integrates solar thermal, heat pump, gas boiler, biomass and any other energy subscriber and can come with a bespoke control package, heating and domestic hot water delivery stations. Layered reservoir energy storage technology is based on the natural occurrence of thermo-syphonage in a large stable volume of water. It is a method of passive heat exchange based on natural convection, which circulates liquid without the necessity of a mechanical pump. This allows heating thermal energy to be stored at differing temperatures within a single vessel enabling superior energy savings when compared with traditional thermal storage vessels. Ratiotherm products are marketed through a highly trained Service Partner Network whom undertake bespoke training at our HQ. Training is undertaken on our working layered reservoir energy storage district heating system in conjunction with solar hybrid and high temperature C02 heat pumps.
