The Raigad District Central Co-Operative Bank established on 30th September, 1960. Bank has already completed 50 years of banking services and also celebrated golden jubilee year in the year 2010-2011. The Bank used to provide prompt and cordial services to its numerous customers all the time since inception. RBI has given banking license to Raigad DCC on November 11, 1995 after this Hon. Shri- Jayant Prabhakar Patil (MLC) took the charge of the Bank as Chairman in the year 1997 and the progress of the Bank was started in real sense. The devotion of the Board and some drastic decisions in the Banking, changed the Bank totally in more positive result. At present the total deposit amount is reaches around Rs.1500.00 Crores and total loan amount disbursed reaches up to Rs 750 Crores. The Bank has setup of 55 branches and H.O. Bank's H.O. Building is one of the most ultra modern and attractive building in the vicinity of Alibag. Today all the branches are connected to a Bank's own Data Center at alibag through Core Banking services. The Bank has shown progress almost in all the sectors of banking and successfully implemented all the schmes of Govt, RBI and Nabard. Being ISO:9001 certified bank, bank has laid down procedures for all the routine activities. Recently Bank has also won prestigious 'Sahakar Nishtha' award from the Govt.of Maharashtra-Co.operative department for the effective contribution towards co-operation in the state. Adding one more major milestone in the history, RDCC bank is launching India's first KCC Rupay Debit Card on 18-May-2013.
