Founded in 2002 to provide science information services to the UK liability insurance industry and trade bodies such as Lloyd's and ABI. The leading product is the Radar journal, reporting on changes to science, common law and statute where these changes might affect liability exposure. The journal reports on emerging risks and changes to known risks. The Radar subscription includes liability ENID models for use with reserving and ERM and to provide quantitative responses to the "what-if" questions on wordings, defences, inflation factors and market profile. Modelling is based primarily on the results of leading, high quality research. New subscribers pay a joining fee for full access to previously circulated ENID models. After that, renewal is at a flat rate. Individual insurers may commission bespoke reports and ENID models. There are fee discounts for Radar subscribers.
