Re/Max was introduced to the Island by Ted Rowe back in the 1980's. The Corner Brook office opened in 1992. Dave Wells was the first agent and Sandra (currently office manager) was the next agent to join and she has been a top producing agent ever since. Ted grew the company from coast to coast and in Labrador owning and operating all of the Re/Max franchises in Newfoundland and Labrador until he started to sell them off a few years ago, starting in St. John's and working across the Island and Labrador. Re/Max Realty Professionals covers the territory of Western Newfoundland and Labrador and was purchased by Carol Anstey at the end of 2013. The shift in ownership means that the company now has leadership directly in its territory. Their offices are in Deer Lake, Corner Brook, Stephenville, a brand new office in Port Aux Basques and one in Goose Bay, Labrador. Currently standing at more than 20 sales agents, the company, since its birth, and to date, continues to grow. With outstanding market knowledge and know-how with technology trends, they have captured dominant market share in all of the areas where they operate.
