Re Rise

Re:Rise (Asociatia pentru Reducerea Riscului Seismic) is a Romanian NGO focused on the creation and implementation of seismic risk reduction programmes in Romania and abroad. Our efforts are directed towards discerning between the preventable and the unavoidable when it comes to seismic events. While acknowledging that such events will, at some point in time, affect vulnerable regions, our aim is to identify and limit preventable losses. It is our conviction that, as a society, we must come together and put in effect every reasonable preventive measure that can reduce seismic vulnerability, thus bridging the gap between what the authorities can provide and what the citizens require.
