Era il 1949 quando Valentino Masolini fondava la sua azienda di calzature in provincia di Udine iniziando la sua attività riciclando materiali raccolti nelle caserme abbandonate dalla seconda guerra mondiale. Nel 2020, Nicola Masolini,quarta generazione, decide di ritornare alle origini dando vita ad un brand tutto in economia circolare, RE49. RE come recycle and return to 49. Ogni calzatura RE49 racconta una storia dei materiali di cui è realizzata interamente a mano e registrata in blockchain con NFT della stessa.
