ReachLawyer believes in making access to law a reality to vulnerable, marginalised, excluded and stigmatised communities. It believes in primacy of Rule of Law in any Democracy. Bringing awareness about Human Rights and tools of effective use of law for its protection. Spreading spirit of Human Rights through talkshows, podcasts, webinars, comprehensive multidisciplinary internship programs to students of Law, Humanities, Media, Legal advise programs to communities we work with (ReachLawyer Sóz) and for protection of Civil Liberties. ReachLawyer is founded by Mr. Venkatesh Bubberjung (B T Venkatesh), a Former State Public Prosecutor, a well known Human Rights Attorney whose decades of work with marginalised, excluded and stigmatised communities is well known. He has developed various innovative tools of Human Right intervention, that are recognised and appreciated by communities and authorities. His work on free speech, personal liberty, against sedition, discrimination (caste, colour, race, class, sexual orientation ) is well known. He provides legal advise and has conducted innumerable cases on behalf of many non profit organisations working for Civil Liberties, Workers Rights, Women Rights, Children Rights, Dalit Rights and LGBTiQ Rights since twenty-five years (Environics, Sangama, Samata, mm & P, MLPC, PUCL, Himalaya Neeti Abhiyaan, Ondede to name a few). He has worked as special public prosecutor for protection of children from sexual violence, sexual violence against women, discrimination of Dalits, denial of rights to sex workers and agitating against stigmatisation of transgendered persons.
