Read-Ignite

Launched in 2017, Read-ignite is a Hong Kong-based social initiative, endeavoring to equalize reading resources and opportunities amongst primary and secondary school students. We envision a community where all children regardless of family income can pursue quality education which allows them to reach full potential. We handpick new hot readers and receive second-hand books from donors, and hence classify them according to suitability for different ages. Books will be distributed through building mini libraries in partner organizations and through free reading workshops. Reading Workshops are organized regularly so that children and teenagers will be provided more chances to improve literacy skills. Workshops are completely free of charge.
