Reading Empowers, Inc

Reading Empowers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting literacy among students in New York City's elementary schools. Our goal is to instill in young students an interest in reading, with the hopes that this will develop into a lifelong love and passion for reading. Our philosophy is that by hosting weekend reading sessions and by providing access to books, the children who participate in our program will become more excited to read on their own and this will help develop and improve their reading abilities, which will ultimately enable them to achieve greater future success.
