RealHer is a cruelty-free makeup brand that inspires women with striking, authentic motivational quotes on its products about how powerful you can be if you truly believe in yourself. Headquartered in California, and born out of a passion for makeup, RealHer was founded in response to the increasingly complex identity of the modern woman. In time, the brand evolved into a powerful vehicle for ideation and inspiration. We believe in creating high-quality, sustainable products that encourage women not to be ashamed of makeup, and to embrace it as a part of one's individuality. Our mission is to empower and bring out the best in the modern woman: to know her worth, to feel proud of her individuality, to love each and every one of her flaws, and to not fear who she really is. The modern woman often faces a crisis of identity. Society so often pressures us into trying to be the perfect ideal, that we often feel as if we can't just be ourselves. With each application, RealHer hopes to inspire the wearer: to be herself, to love herself, to be powerful, to rule the world. It doesn't ask us to be perfect, to be a mother, to be a CEO, to be the perfect beautiful doll, but rather invites us to continue being ourselves, and that which defines us as an individual—and it's liberating. As part of RealHer's initiave for positivism and empowerment, we donate 20% of all gross profits to the American Association of University Women (AAUW), a non-profit organization that advances equity for women and girls through leadership programs, advocacy, education, and research. RealHer is also certified by the CCIC and Leaping Bunny for its commitment to products and ingredients that are not tested on animals in any way, shape or form. Leaping Bunny is an internationally recognized certification program and what sets Leaping Bunny apart from other cruelty-free programs is their strict no animal testing standards, Supplier Monitoring System, and their mandatory audits.
