For those familiar, what we do best can be described as Skunk Works. We provide mechanical design services from early-stage development up to production, or anywhere in between. Also, we are a Jack of Many Trades and can handle most support tasks to reduce the number of people you need to juggle. Because we have extensive fabrication experience, there is a good chance that we will be able to predict problems without having to throw money at prototyping. In other words, we have probably made the mistake before and learned from it. We can save clients time and money by keeping the small task in house. In the early stages, paying an engineer to design the part, spec it out and then oversee the outsourcing is slow and expensive. If you just want to try an idea, we may be able to design, build and test it in less time than an engineer can prepare the design for outsourcing. Once we are ready to move forward, we can help with outsourcing production if desired. We can do much of the fabrication, machining, welding, mechanics, CAD design, purchasing, etc. This can be a huge savings because you don’t have to provide and maintain your own fabrication facility. we will always let you know if you are better off outsourcing an aspect of the project.
