Rebel Shrink founder Dr. Susan LaCombe, has been a psychologist and coach for over two decades. She has helped hundreds reclaim the capacity to concentrate, focus like a ninja and reduce emotional reactivity. Dr. LaCombe graduated with a doctorate in Counseling Psychology and was trained in traditional therapeutic models. It wasn’t until her later professional training that she began to have doubts that the medical model suited the human condition when it came to mental health and emotional wellbeing. Frustrated with a medical model that pigeon-holes anxiety issues into long-standing "disorders"(and no hope for permanent relief) Dr. LaCombe pursued her passion of helping others understand that there's another way. Over the next decade she developed an online program, DeCoding the Brain. DeCoding the Brain is an online, web-based app that teaches you how to optimize performance and reduce emotional reactivity using science-based tools. It’s therapy for people who don’t have time for therapy. DeCoding the Brain takes the user on a path to train the brain using videos, interactive content and challenges that are customized as the user progresses through the levels, earning bonuses and incentives.
