Reborn Minds

Reborn Minds is a local fully registered non-government organization with a focus of promoting positive mental health. It was established on 15th January 2019 with the overall objective of contributing towards improving the state of mental health among vulnerable youth who are less likely to access mental health services as compared to the rest of the population. The organization’s target beneficiaries are youth from key populations, young people living with HIV, young people living with disabilities and teenage mothers living in urban areas of the central region in Uganda. Reborn minds primarily uses group talk therapy and engagement in group activities to provide mental health support to these community members. Our vision is to create a society where mental wellness is a concern for everyone. Since inception, we have executed three successful mental health awareness campaigns funded by a combination of contributions from team members, close friends and relatives that are passionate about mental health. These campaigns have had significant impact on our target groups within Kampala, powered by use of the organization’s social media channels to increase the reach of our message.
